Friday Flyer
Hello everyone, I hope you all have played great golf while I have been away in Queenstown with my golf tour. No joy I diidn't qualify at Cromwell for the NZ Open, I needed 65, so very hot scoring.
Patrons Day on Sunday 10th March (2 days time) . We still have plenty of space so be sure to enter. One Man / One Woman, combined stableford is the format. Please enter in the golf shop. Register by 9:30am and tee off holes 1-10 on Tauhara with food afterwards. Good luck to all.
Course Renovations
Currently Centennial is closed and thankyou for you patience with the bookings being slightly moved with one course only open.
Our Tauhara will be closed from Monday 11th for a week. Please note the Driving range will still be open but please only use the Centennial putting green from Monday 11th-Sunday 17th. Can we please ask that you check into the shop before play, we are still getting a few players on course this week while Centennial has been closed.
Thankyou to Gordo and his team for all their hard work. Its been a busy summer and this course reno is designed to also give the course a break from traffic.
Local Rules
The local rules on the board outside the golf shop will be updated soon as well as a link with the same info on the website. If you have any questions come and see me, I'm more than happy to help and I have close contact with the head rules official of NZ Golf so I can always seek help.

Local rule update: Hole 17th Tauhara infront of the green there is a metal bar about 30m short, this is blue so means GUR, free relief, this isn't meant to be moved.
NZ Amateur
Good luck to member Wilson Simmonds at the NZ Amateur at Paraparaumu, you will go great.
NZPGA
Callum our trainee is at the NZPGA at Bridge Pa this week. He has shot Rd1 81 (+9) , 78 (+6). He made 5 birdies in the two rounds, just take a few bogies off and he will be making some cuts soon.
