Friday Flyer a day early
Hello Members, big events coming in the next few weeks.
The Trans Tasman went amazingly well thsi week, course was top level and the good old Aussies snuck in for the wins after the teams were all tied up after day one. We hope to see more NZ Events here in the future.
Sands Charity shotgun start run by Steph and Dan Weston tees off 10:30am on Tauhara Friday 16th March, tomorrow. Some great prizes on offer for this 3 person ambrose format. Be sure to register no later than 10am.
Saturday Men's Rd 2 of the Harcourts Rentals Summer Cup is on Tauhara this Saturday 17th Feb. Good luck to all in contention.
Ladies Twin Classic is only a week away, the ladies look totally organised for this. Best 3 out of 4 stableford is what counts for the team scores each day with twos also. Look out for a special discount in the shop for the entrants of this event. See Fran Fuller for a sneak preview.
Westpac Corporate 2 day event will be 24/25 Feb, pls book you rounds on the opposing golf courses.
We have heard Cliff is imrpoving every day. We will check in with him mid March to see what his return date is.
Patrons Day 10th March, you can now enter early through the pro shop, one woman/one man combined stableford comp.

Next round of Men's Pennants is Sunday 18th Feb at Taupo Golf Club. Good luck to our teams playing with their home course advantage.

Thanks to the TGC Members who have jumped on my golf tour in Queenstown next week, I'll see you down there. I am driving down with my family along the West Coast of the South Island for the first time. I'll be sure to update you on my preq round for the NZ Open on the 26th March. 1 spot from 36 players, most likely a 64 will be required :)
