RULES UPDATE FOR TAUPO GOLF CLUB

Hello Taupo Golf Club Members, this email is to update you we will now be "PLAYING THE LIE" across both courses as from tomorrow 16th February 2023. It will now say this on your scorecard as well.

CYCLONE UPDATE: With the crazy weather and trees down, we strongly encourange making safe decisions when in and amoungst the trees. Please stay away from fallen trees and this includes the left side of the 14th fairway on Centennial course, so do not go into the area of fallen trees is the simple message. Please use the lost ball local rule of dropping on the fairway for 2 shots. eg. You hit your tee shot into the fallen tree. You can play your 4th shot from the fairway. You do also have the option to hit a provisional ball from the tee if you had thought to do so while on the tee. This overall speeds up play and most importantly right now is to be safe.
